I came to love Touch of Gray, maybe because I was at the Cap Center for the debut 2 nights before this, or maybe because it's just a great song. Upon listening to this 2nd public performance of Touch, I had my breath taken away by a little lick Jerry made during the solo at about the 3:13 mark where he takes the line up high for a brief moment. So very pretty and delicate, like a flower opening up for the first time in the dewy morning sunshine. So many little moments to savor. LP

I was here/there/where? This is a stellar audience recording that I found reference to on one of the SBD reviews…Thanks to that gentleman and scholar! Not just that but a far better show, in fact excellent, than I would have suggested. But for those calling this best o' the year, I would direct you to Manor Downs in Austin. and I'm partial to the Red Rocks shows from that year, my personal shows number 3, 4 and 5, not necessarily in that order! Oh, wait…. Regardless, quite nice!!
