Fantastic show from start to finish. I'm listening to the whole Fall 1982 East Coast tour and while this show has kind of a vanilla set list, the playing is as good as any other. The two MSG shows get lots of love - I saw both - but I think the Cap Center, Portland and Boston shows preceding them and this one immediately following are very bit as good. i usually stick to boards and it is widely acknowledged that Phil is way too low in the mix during this era.

The bus come by and got on, that's when it all began... this was my first show. I remember the energy and dancing in the halls. I saw my shaman through some clean brown windowpane. I was hooked. Going back and listening now, I too realize how great it, and the energy, really was. Entire second set flowed. I remember that even the concession people were dancing by the time we got to Johnny B. Goode.

I loved the Wheel-Wharfrat-Other One. Killer version. I also loved the very electric Jerry at the end of Althea.
