Quality good. Great set. Even though it is electric they do On The Road Again...and Touch of Grey (Jerry says "Say your peace and p*** off! Whoa.) Awesome show. I downloaded and put on flash drive. Sweet show. Great El Paso and TN Jed as well.

- ★★★★★ · deep Shakedown groove · ebear77 · 2022
5 bc this is my favorite Shakedown. Maybe Jerry did have a little too much too fast; Bobby sounds like he's almost laughing as he reminds him of the lyrics at the start. The band (and the audience hoots and howls) sound loose, funky, wild. The round on the chorus is great, and then Jerry and the drummers sink into a groove that just gets deeper and deeper, with Phil thumping them along.
- ★★★★★ · What kinda stocking stuffer was that, Jerry? · Burnt Rich · 2007
Jerry is obviously feeling REAL good after that set break, huh? Maybe a lil' void in the lyric deparment gettin things going, but the jammin' is some deep stuff and loose as a goose for the most part. No complaints from this fan. First set has some gems--Man Smart in the first set, On the Road Again, and a lil' latter-day Lazy Lightning. Great show-great era for the band-AND especially Jerry Band around this time, too. I like Christmas in June. Great upload-Thanks.
- ★★★★★ · OH NO!!! FLUBBED LYRICS!!! RUN AWAY , , , , · Go Faster, Get Rounder · 2011
The lyrics at the start of Shakedown are well and truly flubbed. As one earlier reviewer commented very aptly "what kind of stocking stuffer was that Jerry?" Yep. Maybe he had too much too fast . . . . But about the time you quit laughing they really, really get a truly memorable groove going-- majority of the song is just absolutely killer and Jerry sure ain't lost . . . . .
