I’ve taken a strong week off from listening to the Dead. It’s not much, but it became necessary for me to hear the music again. I never saw the band live, never felt that chase so many have. and, while I miss that integral part of the experience, I do have these tapes that serve as purposeful reminders (tokens) that curate so excellently what it was like to be there, watching my favorite band (that I was born too late to see) play brilliantly on days like this one.

The recording quality of this show is, simply put, the BEST AUD I have ever heard. I don't think I can truly express how wonderful this recording is. Then you have the music...which is stellar as well. The boys are obviously having fun and playing at their best. The Drums section is good for some laughs which I know is kind of weird to say, but listen and you'll understand what I mean. Thanks to the Grateful Dead Listening Guide for pointing me to this show!!!

This show, I've heard 100s of times since 84, this Aud captures it dare I say better then the great SBD available! The show itself, best 83 eye's and the whole show is solid. Highly recommended, there are better 83 shows but as a whole this show this is just about perfect.
