WOW!! This show is SICK!! Brutal versions of everything. Shakedown is killer. The whole first set is on FIRE!! Jerry solos like a demon on Ramble on Rose. The Pre-Drums is some amazing Good Ol Grateful Dead. Scarlet>Fire>Estimated>Terrapin!! A good Scarlet with Jerry reaching some heights. The Fire is off the hook, especially the third solo. Estimated Rocks. The Terrapin is tender and emotional. Throwing Stones is great. The star of the Post-Drums is Good Lovin with Bobby rapping like crazy.

Well, this is what started it all for me. I was a sophmore at CU Boulder and had never seen the Dead before. We got lost trying to find Red Rocks and I nearly got kickked out when I jumped over the fence at the top of the auditorium to pee - and let me say that it was the first time I have ever SEEN musical energy pass between musicians and audience.

...Rollandfin The best Ramble on Rose for sure for those of us that were there...Listen to that Phil lead just before 'Good bye momma and poppa...good bye Jack n Jill'...I was at this show but not at the 6-18-74 show from Kentucky..I know that was a great classic show, but it was a different time for the band...Like comparing Eyes Of The World from 1973 to 1978...I get it though... Rock on...
