This was a hot show in its own right and we all thought they would roll out a St Stephen like they did at the Garden a few nights prior (they didnt) this is the first time they played the Centrum for what would be many more smokin shows and a staple of any touring dead heads diet. This was a beautiful cool NE fall Th night with the leaves turning and everyone pumped to be there.... hot bertha>greatest. Tenn Jed+outrageous LL rain>deal.. Set II was hot hot help>slip sampson>eyes??

Was at this show, nothing but pleasant memories. Jerry goes bananas during Help On The Way, playing at blazing speeds. The Eyes has a different introduction. Stella Blue into the Other One was nice, and the Good Lovin' to end the show was a blast. Thank you.

i don't care what it's about. it's just a great great song and this is a great version of it. it might be the speakers i'm using, but phil's bass sounds sooo cool. especially during stella blue
