This is an excellent show from '85 that unfortunately is often overlooked. The second, and best, show of a four night run in Berkeley. The boys are full of energy from start to finish and this show features an amazing second set. Set one starts of strong with a lengthy, energetic Stranger. Jerry slows things down a bit with Peggy-O but his playing is very enthusiastic. C.C. Rider is next and it is a blazing hot rendition with amazing solos. Bird Song is another highlight.

this is a superb '85 show... Stranger, Peggy-O, CC Rider, and Bird Song all smoke!!! Bird Song's got a great jam too... Samson>Terrapin>Truckin' is fantastic....HIGH energy for Truckin', then a little blues for a nice Smokestack... Space melts into Stella Blue that leads into a rockin' GDTRFB awesome show, lots of energy, great setlist, but it'll only get a 4 b/c I find the recording to be quite bassy...(obviously) this is not an Oade recording (A+), but it's a decent listen overall, if you can…

There's a mind left body jam of sorts during the jam out of Smokestack lighting. Sweet show. The Samson, Terrapin, Truckin, Smokestack is rockin.
