Its a Oade source...definately worth checking out. Sound quality is nice and crisp. The second set is full of noteworthy jams. I would recommend this show to anyone.

Thanks to the Oades for making this available. I have been listening to the Mark Gibbs version since obtaining it from him a few days after the show. While it is a fine recording, the Oade > PCM setup is par excellence for this period and cannot be beat for frequency response. I had a wonderful time here, because I was with a great crowd of folks (thanks to Carter, Cooley, and others). Moreover, I was able to turn on my younger brother to the Dead during this run.

This was my 4th show out of what would wind up numbering about 80 (+ some assorted JGB's). I agree with Dan's comments wholeheartedly: this is a very solid show and the crowd's energy says it all. Personally, I love the "Bob heavy" post-drums part of set II. All of those tunes totally kick a** (except Baby Blue--haha). Out to Lunch, to answer your question those stage screens had not become part of the backdrop in a standard 85 show.
