Average, clunky, sloppy? I guess you had to be there. Gimme Some Lovin' a disaster? Really? Then I wonder why Rhino picked The Wheel > Gimme Some Lovin' to go on the So Many Roads Box Set? (Rhino only decided against it, according to David Gans, because of some minor technical flaw in the soundboard recording). Everybody who attended this run agreed that they peaked on this night.

The second set of this show ranks high amongst the finest I ever heard and I have listened to most of them. From the cool china cat intro that Brent pulls off to the end of the SECOND encore, this show is amazing and unique. There are som many moments of this show that are exceptional that it is hard to hit them all. The I know You Rider will blow your head off. The last note is a Phil bomb (one of the many this night) and goes right into Lost Sailor.

Hey trail user it's reviews like your that I absolutely love to read!! Some people are so clueless as to compare one show to another and all that critical b.s. l love to read about shows that people were at! The vibe, the scene, the song selection, it just makes my tears well up and gives me chills to really feel what it was like to be in the presence of the awesome spectacle that was a Grateful Dead show.
