Are you kidding me? The mississippi halfstep, the minglewood, the stagger lee, the friend of devil, the big railroad, the looks like rain, this is one of the best first sets I've ever heard.

well, everybody has a first show, and this was mine (#1 of 99). shrooms, alcohol, bud, etc and I didn't know any dead tunes. "it's all over now" and "NFA" were the only songs i heard before. first set was clean, crisp and lively... china rider>samson>hes gone>spoonful>good times was awesome before drums. was ready to rock out during the encore but jerry lullabied us with "baby blue", kept me wanting more.... 98 more to be exact!

First set was rock solid. 2nd saw a bit of an energy dip. BUT, Never Trust/Good Times is the best I have ever heard. And frankly, so is the Throwing Stones/NFA combo!
