another one of the nights you walk outside after and say to your self and your friends did that really just happen???? the kind of show that grabs you and doesnt let go till the following morning when you wait for THAT next moment of truth. In my oppion the next night just didn't come close to the electric or was it the liquid energy from the night before. am not sure but i think this when they still had the bar upstaris in the corner over jerry's side of the stage.

Just a Great Evening. Shows at this venue really could be like visiting a museum; walking among some great canvases. I was a taper at this one. There had been some push back among the tapers re. where we could set up. In the ensuing years we'd have to accept being moved up to the far balcony ;-/ I think it was Steve Parish or Dan Healey who told us that, on this run, there would be a hotel room rented(!) where they would make available their sdb. origins.

GD 11/21/1985 --- I've had this tape for many years but was not there for this one in person - unfortunately. Same SB source - very quality; vocals vs guitars well balanced. Jerr's ON and the boyz are all itchin to play. Big Boy Pete & Walk the Dawg are phun as heck. When I started seeing GD live in '85ish, I thought they might play both these tunes more often - maybe like a Rooster, or Black Muddy. Silly wabbit trips are for kids. These are hot and rare arrangements.
