This is one Powerful performance. Jack Straw twists and pulls. The Mighty Quinn is clearly defined followed by a solid punchy Samson often times this song iis either played too fast with Jer playing distorted fan notes or it simply doesnt have the gusto to go. This version pounds like King Kong. Bob Weir roars like Godzilla in what I think is one of the best Brent-era Smokestacks. The Other One is a storm. Comes a Time is tender. 5 for performance and 4.5 for sound. My favorite HJK run.

Attended this run of shows including Mardi Gras. This was the best night of the 4 (5 including Valentines Day). Basically pure psychodelia on this night, with the classic mid-80's He's>Smoke>Comes a time, followed by the 40 foot dragon dancing through the crowd, and erupting into a thrashing Other One (fans of this tune should take notice). 4 out of 5 stars with 1 deducted for the shortness of the show (only 74 mins second set., 6 song first set)
