Now I was at this show. It was my first effort at taping. It went mostly horrible! Highlites of that show was Drums/Space and...Gimmie Some Lovin"! Wow! Brent was all over on the organ on that one. Man! Was he diggin' in there! And them growls near the end! With Phil and Jerry. Yikes! Brent was never used enough. He could've done a great Hard To Handle! What might have been. Oh well! At least he did the BEST EVER Gimmie! Yowza! so, 5 stars just for that!

It's nice if one of them is a hot 15+ minute Playin'. Other highlights include Half-Step, China>Rider (although Weir's completely fudging his part in China Cat), Gimme Some, and Uncle John's. A pretty strong Drums>Space also. The rest is pretty average. The sound is excellent -- listen through WinAmp and turn up the upper mid-range, especially in Drums. Does anyone remember what Bob was rambling about during Good Lovin'?

all sorts of gems in '86 many pass over. really like these 5/3 and 5/4 shows -- both different, both excellent. this 5/4 show rocks right out of the gate w a 'ron' mention on saturday nite... best part of show imo is post drums UJB thru Good Lovin', which I give 5 stars... and nice Box 'o Rain encore.
