I prefer the FOB sources for these late 1986/early 1987 shows, rather than the Healy mixes, because Healy was still experimenting with the mixes he was committing to tape. They got better as 1987 went on. As for this show, well, the big clue here is that they kept going after "Promised Land", which is almost always a set closer in the later Brent era. Then you might notice it's preceded by ANOTHER Bobby song, which is rare.

the grateful dead weren't the best at what they did, they were the only ones who did it...i think this show has a nice sound, strong list,and good danceability, which was what it was all about as far as i'm concerned...gosh i sure would love to hear something like this live today, and dance for a few hours, how sweet that would be. My cat says "meow," concurring
