The night before this show is when shot the "Touch Of Grey" video. When the show ended the 1st night they told the crowd that they were going to shoot the video and most everyone stayed on the grounds. It was a really fun night and they next day they came out and played this show. Ry Cooder and Bruce Hornsby opened up. It was a great show and it sound as good as I remember it many years later. "I received your letter yesterday..." in Desolation Row sent shivers up my spine then and now.

Before the encore of the Sunday, May 10th show, where I was standing about 15 yards from the stage, on stage right, in the "Phil Zone", I started to shout the "Not Fade Away" chant. Some guy in front of me shot me an annoying look, and told me to quiet down. I refused. I think this may have prompted others around me to join in the chant. Next thing you know hundreds of people around the front of the stage are chanting it, loudly. The band came back out and made Not Fade Away their first encore.

Nice sound and the set list is very good. Another inverted Playing In The Band, sort of like the Portland Maine show in 85. Just not as inverted if that even makes sense. This one here is the album style Playing In The Band 4 minute version. Having been to every show in 86 87 I do not often listen to these years. Just thought I would give 1 a try this A M . Is very good show. Also any time I come across these names of the tapers I know the quality is above and beyond.
