This was my 1st dead show and also my earliest memory. My mom (8 months pregnant) said she could feel me rockin' out FROM THE WOOM! Seriously though, good recording, great show.

This was easily the most outrageously partified tripadelic three days I ever had. I flew from NJ to Milwaukee and met up with some loser from college and his equally loser little bro'. A bunch of Cheesehead pseudoheads. Anyway I hooked up with my buddy from NJ who was driving across the USofA after a year in LA. My luggage got lost by Northworst airlines and I had to borrow clothes from my NJ buddy.To say that we partied like rockstars would be an understatement.

I think - and hindsight is always 20/20 - this was really a transition period for the boys. Garcia was less than a year removed from his recovery. The bands first show back was a mere 7 months prior to this period. I think the later '86 shows were really to help Jerry get back on his feet and in the groove, thank God.
