Sound quality good. Tour with Dylan so this show is three full sets with the last one being with Dylan. (I saw DSO last night and they played Chimes of Freedom so that is why I am listening to this show really.) We get Tons of Steel which is not one of my favorites but neat to hear. Crazy a** Step Back announcement with reverb on vocals and whatnot. Killer solo on Bertha. Pretty damn impressive Morning Dew with beautiful guitar work throughout to start the second set. Very nice Throwing Stones. Nice to hear Mobile with Dylan actually singing it. Kickass Ballad of a Thin Man. I really dig the funky Wicked Messenger. I also really like the Times Are A Changin. Nice to hear Touch of Grey as encore considering it was a current hit for them at the time.

Yep, folks, my one and only Dead show! I was born in Ohio, grew up in NYC but then moved to Mallow, Co.Cork in Ireland...so I never got the chance to follow 'em around. But that summer I was back in NYC. In a way, I got the whole trip -I travelled out to Jersey to line up for tickets about a month or so before, which was great fun and, as I understand it, a major part of the Dead experience.

i would of killed to see dylan playing with the best backup band in the world. Dylan is fantastic song writer. Jerry loved getting down on some dead. i mean he'd been playing them forever. Yeah Dylans voice is weird, thats Dylan. I saw him couple of months ago and you cant even understand him. So this is great. And even though you can hear the crowd i think it just adds to how good a show this is. The first set is so tight sounding. and im sick of everyone knocking shows and judging them.
- ★★★★★ · 2nd show at 14 · Itmustabindacid · 2013
My 2nd show and the one that truly set the hook! So much music, sensory overload. My next near Dead experience was Jerry on Broadway 10/31/1987 matinee and evening shows....which at that point Jerry had me flopping around on the deck of his boat for the next 8 years.
