Quality good. Really cool finish with Wharf Rat and Lovelight then encore of Black Muddy River. Very pretty.

Greetings fellow hippies ! hope you are all doing well. this was my first show as well, and I was only there because my brother used to always take my to a spring concert for my birthday gift. Luckily for me, this show - the Dead's first time back at the ol' OMNI in 14 years - came around near my 3/27 birthday. So I figured that I would check out this band that I only "knew" through Europe '72.

The candyman from this particular night is a smoker. In fact from the Candyman on, the band is on fire. I don't hear a lick of somber in anything this whole evening. This is a helluva first night to the east coast Spring tour. I wish I woulda been there. Hey jboyaquar, are you reviewing the DSO version of this show, or the one here?

I don't know what Jboy was talking about as it relates to this show either............Seems a bit like a portfolio piece for a Rolling Stone resume to me............Not dissing either......................But my best assumtion is that he was mourning, and got a bit lost............Sound reasonable to anyone else besides me ? At any rate, if that is the case, it sure says alot about the talent of DSO. We're spiritual beings having human experiences....Don't believe the MIRROR!!!!
