This was my 1st show, I was 16. This was a magical experience, really excited to be able to hear it again and this AUD is pretty darned good. I know this middle of the 3-day run at Laguna Seca is the lowest rated of the 3, but it means a lot to me. It was a sweltering hot day, especially by Monterey standards where it's often cold and foggy. We didn't bring any water! So naive, but the vibe was so good and the Heads were generous and I seem to remember plenty of water to go around.

I love it how the word "magic" keeps coming up in the comments below. It's the best possible and entirely accurate one word summary for these three days of shows and deadhead community camping. Magic, Thank you Jerry. We were within ten feet or so of the Jerry-side of this pair of mics, under 20 feet from the stage. These guys made us a great tape. The bass is unbelievable. Thanks for that, too.

This was also my first show. A friend and I had driven up from SoCal, (hoo-ya, U C Riverside!) and wow, what an experience. It changed my life forever. One of the things I remember about the heat, that no one else has written about, was when they turned the huge fire-hoses on the crowd. What a relief!!! That show was my first real experience of the kindness of strangers, and people working together so everyone is okay, has something to eat, etc. and so on.
