Sure I'm biased because i was there and had my face melted off. BUT I challenge anyone to listen to every song played and tell me where there is ANY sloppiness. There isn't any... although 6/18/89 was sloppy as hell the 19th was close to perfection. Can't understate how different Garcia and the Boys' approach was that night...Franklins slide segue jammed into Walkin no break, and I knew IT was ON.

Tons of highlights in this show! Killer quality board, Jerry could be a bit louder but it's all good. Essential Bird Song! Fat front end of set 2, loose and rippin back end. Love the throwing stones turnaround jam that they kick into in not fade away! never heard it like that. The knockin is a complete knockout, you can hear the love from the crowd after this very powerful version, played a few weeks after the passing of john cippolina.
