did not make this show but been to the Greek Theatre - this being the last show there its interesting that it was such a good one the place is seriously charged: you can feel it in the woods and grounds the actual site was an Ohlone Indian pit ; the Ohlones practiced shamanism and beleived in the countering spirits of the coyote trickster and the benevolent hummingbird the man who built the Greek was a classicist from Cornell, moved West from the East Teddy 'Roosevelt' (red or rose world/earth…

The greek theater is such a great, intimate venue, and it's natural setting carved into the hill provides for some surprisingly good acoustics. However, the backstage area is a huge curved concrete wall, not conducive to hearing the band very well. Am I complaining about backstage passes? Hell no! I was lucky enough to have a friend who was, believe or not, buddies with John Cutler by way of ham radio.

The last Greek Theater show, and a fitting end. The Other One is just TREMENDOUS. Not perfectly played, not seemless, but OMG, it is one **powerful** piece of music. The Other One starts building from Space. The whole band is in The Zone, especially Phil and Jerry, who are just tearing it up. Things are off-kilter and spacey, but the real fireworks begin after the last lyrics.
