  3/28/90 -- I've got a confession to make. Cold Rain became a throw away tune (in my opinion) by 90. And back during that spring tour, I wasn't too fond of Brent tunes. AND I was getting to the point of considering Bobby a male Donna (how many throwing stones can one listen to, let alone play?!) -- So y'all can understand my feelings after the "Easy to luv you".

  i too have had this show on tape for a long time. my copy is a grate aud, and the crowd is goin insane, especially during "the weight" . the Foolish heart is top notch, The Weight is incredible,might be the best Pocky way, but the Other One is one of my leasts faves. as far as Rain n Snow being a throw away tune, thats blasphemy. A hard driving-2 chord ditty that comes with some good warm up backing vocals and a simple melodic solo is a grate way for any band to open, especially the Dead.

  Nassau was always charmed. I enjoyed the hell out this whole tour and this show was no exception. Coming out of the sunny south Cold Rain and Snow in the North always worked for me. Though I enjoyed shows after Brent passed 1990 was the last peak and I very much missed him and the energy he and Jerry shared. As they did on this night. Rest with the angels Jerry & Brent I wonder who else is jamming with them on the other side.
