This is a part of the Country that I would like to explore and I have noticed the Dead seemed to play well in the Pacific North West. I contend the Spring and Summer of 1990 were very good musically for the Band. Brent was stepping up to help out Jerry and Bobby with the tune rotation. And listen to his jumping in for backing vocals at all points. Phil seemed to be letting his bass licks drop in 73 fashion when he had the mind.

Historic for that reason alone. I have had the second set sbd for some time but listened to set 1 first time. I was always interested at how the eugene Help slip franks sounded, and it was awesome but maybe a little bit short(slipknot), check out 7-18-90 deer creek to find the best h>s>f post bust out at hampton fall 89. Anyway, most notable to me is phil's tone on the bass. Truly unique even for him.

I had been to probably 4 or 5 show before this...but this one changed me. It was my 18th birthday show and the set list tells the story. The performance, the magic of that day, and the energy only Eugene can create made it the best show of my career. Thanks guys!
