A Philly classic, 5 stars, the let it grow was a f***** jam, since Philly is my backyard I feel so at home that I waltzed to bout 8 rows from stage the floor was absolutely racious.It felt like I was being hit with raindrops but it was many peoples sweat flying off of their hair from boogie in our a**** off. I had to meander up after let it grow to the hall by the metal doors the guards would open in between sets.

Played through a Yamaha receiver w/direct source and two Paradigm Monitor 9 speakers. 1st set is a mess basically. Set list is fine but execution is bad. This is ironic because the band feels like they want to be good this night. I think they might feel a little embarrassed actually. Jerry bailing out Weir during "Masterpeice" is hilarious, as Weir forgets an entire verse. It's not all bad. MHS, TLEO, and LIG are all decent. Set 2 here is actually as good as you're going to find this year.

This show is pretty dang good. The Althea>Let it grow is an all time favorite, for both versions true stand outs. Bobby's guitar effects and phil's deep bass makes these versions quite special
