One of my favorite Dead tunes. IMHO, they are really the only band (including Dylan) who has performed the song in a way to do it justice. Nothing lacking here - great tempo, playing and Bobby's vocals are right on. Great mix (thanks!) all the instruments are crystal-clear and blend nicely.

the dead must have been feelin it over in europe!! i'll bet that no one has listened to the victim on 10-28 90 and compared the evil nice sound here...smoothness alvietazen!!!!

Was at this show - after Essen and Berlin everyone had gotten spoiled with pretty killer shows and small venues. This one had a large police presence with visible rifles (mainly from the Army base) . Lots of broken glass too outside, large venue, lots of riff-raff, so the vibe was off immediately. And it took forever to get there because East Germany had opened it's borders and traffic was insane getting out of Berlin. But, the Valley Road in this made it all worth it. Everyone needed it.
