Weir says, "How 'bout them Niners?" All in all, highly adequately enjoyable evening of fine recording technique. This representation is harmonically sound. The band mailed it in, yet the mail was well dispatched. Overnight delivery. Personally like Bruce and Vince, both singing and playing, on this performance. They are nicely prominent in the mix. Gives Jerry room to launch chords lustrous. Could have easily attended this show but was too lazy. Now glad I wasn't there, 'cuz, hear am i.

I loved hearing this. Stander, the Hornsby tune is SO sweet! IMO (as a musician) they did not mail this in, and it is NOT a waste of time. My prior show was the final Ventura show July 1984. These comments are from my journal, recorded the following day, my one and only time attending a show on my own: "The music filled me, at times, with profound feelings, really.
- ★★★★ · Sublime show, only U.S. Stander · cringle · 2009
Great shew. Vince up a little high in the mix for my liking the only minus. Also the only stateside playing of "Stander" ... its a shame they ditched it, it is a majestic song, and Jerry was just beginning to turn the corner with it.
