Yes I concur with many of the previous reviews. The night before was my first post Brent show and I wasn't that impressed. This night laid any doubt's to rest. I'm kinda surprised nobody mentioned the Birdsong??? I knew Hornsby was gonna be good but what Vinnie did on Birdsong too thinking " yeah they can keep him... He belongs " agree its THE Best Valley Road. Also like 12/30/90 ( last one ) too bad they stopped playing it, think the folks back east would have dug it.

Better today than they were 25 years ago. I wonder if they even knew it was their silver anniversary. Magnificent performance all the way through. Except for opening parts having some shaky unmixed sound this production fairly rocks, rather! Every song, every expression is an absolute delight. Phil is stunning. They all mesh well around his commanding presence. Juicy-juice! Blender on puree'! Wharf Rat kicks royally! And when I say Wharf kicks it must have been a great show.

I agree with the sentiment of the earlier reviewer, in that a recording of a show at the Oakland Coliseum can only approximate the experience- and the audio alone can never really convey what was happening in the room. I mean, big b**** of energy would tangibly roll across the floor. People commonly glowed in the dark inside the Oakland coliseum. I could go on but some who were there know exactly what I mean. I personally was, uh, finely adjusted for this show.
