I saw 35 shows in 1991 and this one was easily in my top 5... and 1991 was a fantastic year for the Grateful Dead. Amazing energy in the Knick and the spectacular performances of Help>Slip>Franklin's, Brown Eyed Women, Deal, Samson>China Cat and Good Lovin are enough alone to elevate this show for me... As I think back over the 100 shows I attended between 1989 and 2003... this one always rises to the highest level of the list of absolute favorites.

The Knicker always sounded great, and the Dead played hot show in albany....The soundboard is perfect, everyone's in the mix...very clean...I was at this show although i don't remember much, The 1990 albany show were really smoken, five star for sound......

Opened a box and found some old tix stubbs, I guess I was at this show...just listened again for the very first time, awesome! Franklins and Deal are just icky! Sound is a 5 and the band 5 as well.
