I lived in CT at the time and couldn't find my way all the way out to Indiana in time for tour. I got on the bus at Buckeye lake and saw the rest. Yes there were really some good shows mixed in on that tour but l saw this set list several days later and I just knew I missed a special show. Great to finally listen to it. But you Jack Straw lovers have not lived until listening to 7/02/1988 Oxford, Maine. Phil drops enormous BASS BOMBS and left everyone slackjawed...my fav ever

Estimated shook the hills with a strange granduer. This Prophet approaches like some shambling traveler on the road, a refugee from sights beyond your horizons. He walks with you and tells you things as if each is a performative utterance like let there be light. Then he wanders off, his empathy disarming. He’s concerned about your state of mind, about you worrying about him, as if afraid what impact his company will have.

One heck of a smokin' hot show out in the Indiana corn fields! Bruce just pushing the limits, every song a gem, superbly played with each musician really stretching out and shining. Brings back great memories of one of the best venues in the midwest. So fun to listen to shows on the days they were played, really captures the magic!
