Brent shines on Peggy-O. Reminds me more of a 90 show. Big full sound throughout entire show. Really cool Watchtower. On Standing on the Moon Jerry has a particularly cool grandfatherly tone.

here's the lowdown. this was a very good and one-of-a-kind show. and a beautiful night at pine knob pavilion. starts a little shaky, before jerry pulls it together for a dynamite peggy-o, followed by a nice mexi -> maggie's, bird song. but this is all about the second set.. and it's really the bob tunes that are showcased. the throwin sandwich is totally out of left field, and the transition between throwin and iko is, as another reviewer said, total goosebump material.

Staying in the office for lunch in Bricktown, OKC, OK - Damn! This may be the best audience tape I've ever heard in my life! And what a F!@#$%G amazing setlist. As one reviewer said previously, it may look awkward on papaer, but upon first listen it blew me away how the boys made it all gel so smoothly. Check out Bruce Hornsby's accordion playing on Perggy-O! Oh, how I love the Grateful Dead! Jerry's magic will never die! Thank you taper for this magical gem!!!

I don't care what the dickens was going on but this has to be one of the finest shows i have ever heard. Was at Pine Knob once to see the Beach Boys(free tickets) with Warren Zevon as the opener!! A surreal night to be sure!! anyhow D/L this and say out loud... Thank you The One Love,Thank you to the Dead and of course Thanks so much to the tapers,the uploaders and the ARchive!! PEACE:Skippy
