Second night of the nine night MSG run we have been listening to. Starting off with kickass Picasso Moon? Pretty cool opening. Awesome Loose Lucy with sweet keyboards and nice Jerry vocals. New Speedway Boogie into some weird half jam of Playing in the Band and then into Uncle John's Band! What is that??? Sweetness. Quinn the Eskimo for encore which is tight.

I used to go to Dead concerts and dance like there was no tomorrow. At the end of the concert I would yell and howl for as long as it took for them to come back and to know how much I appreciated them. I used to consider The Who in my top three bands of all time behind The Beatles and the Dead. I now turn off their songs when they come on the radio. Late last night I was listening to this concert and really enjoying it.
- ★★★★★ · The Music Never Stopped · Latney Blunk · 2021
This is the show where Mickey Hart had invited a couple of remarkable guests. Greg F., a patient with a neurological condition and his doctor, Oliver Sacks. Dr. Sacks writes about the case study in his essay “The Last Hippie,” which was also loosely adapted into the film “The Music Never Stopped.” Greg was found wandering the streets of New York with a severe brain tumor. He recovers from the cancer after surgery, but he could no longer recall or create long-term memories.

This is a brilliant show that deserves attention...one of my top 5. Some highlights: - MSN - Playin Reprise (out of nowhere) - Everything post drumz, including a MAMMOTH Morning Dew
