Fifth night of a nine night MSG run. Touch of Grey to start. Nice. Very pretty Birdsong to finish the first set. Victim or the Crime to start second set! Very nice Throwing Stones as well. Kickass Not Fade Away to end second set.

This was my first concert ever. Dead show. My friend (Gildo) and I (at 16) lied to our parents (I was sleeping over his house- and he was sleeping over at mine) and jumped on the train from the Jersey Shore (Manasquan, NJ). Friday the 13th at night in NYC as a teen-ager. Wow. Enter NYC. Deadheads all over the streets in downtown NY. Best night of my young life! What an awesome experience, the band sounded great, Bruce was jamming - Jerry and the boys jammed on, and on.

...You know this space is getting hot!! This show is a sweet one, but it's the Althea that knocked me off my feet when I first heard it. Jerry builds it up and just blows the roof off at the end! I actually like the audience copy of this show better...to hear the crowd erupt during Althea is/was amazing! Highly recommend this one...

This was the last show that I saw the Dead Play in NY. It was a great show and as I recall(barely) one of the most rockin Not Fade Away's I'd ever seen. I hung out after the show, quite the scene in NY and Took the train @ 3:45 A.M. back to Baltimore--WHEW!!
