I caught most of the MSG-BG shows on this tour and this was one of the best shows I saw. The copy here holds up from what I remember. Phil is up in the mix early but seems to decrease. Shakedown is a feast of the whole band along with Bruce who I loved and wished had stayed on. Bobby especially comes through on S.S. with some great work setting up Jerry. This Shakedown was one of my favorites live and was well paced and long but not meandering.

I have a ticket, as well, that was for a seat that was wiped away. This is probably my favorite show...EVER. Ok I was only a few years into it, but DAMN. I remember that things were sounding better than ever. These six shows were pretty monumental for me. Everyone always talks about the Help>Slip>Fire from a couple nights earlier...but this show. DOORS OFF Bobby was doing a book signing with his sister in teh city. Panther's Dream.
- ★★★★★ · Tear this old Building Down · jhender501 · 2006
(my earlier review below) I thought for sure Samson-Iko was going to tear the old building down that night. Whoo boy. Jim thought for sure they would tear the building down this night. A fun time..I loved the CC Rider-->Takes a lot to laugh as well as Me and My Uncle--Maggie's Farm. But at the start of the second set is when I thought for sure the place would go to pieces and a friend says to me after Iko "They've GOT to cool this place down" which brought us to "Looks like Rain" What struck me…
