I took this review from one of the other versions of this concert on the archive. It tells the story Reviewer: timbolimboli - - May 21, 2006 Subject: A very special day I was down front pretty close to the stage most of the day. The Dirty Dozen Brass Band jumped up in a flatbed truck and did a slow circuit around the track at the Polo Fields doing a N'awlins-style jazz funeral parade, a bunch of folks following, to start the show. Satriani was cool, his set was inspired.

Excellent recap leafblower. It was a real human event full of emotion . It was quite surreal because it just happened like the old days someone was told to put the word out and it was born with the new morning and it was a typically beautiful Cal day. John Popper And Neil Young CSN were moving. Ohio was great! John Fogerty and Jerry were a great tandem. The AIDS bene was a great outdoor fall event huge CCR set 20 songs? And then 2 full Dead sets after.
