Really dials it in on guitar. What a gorgeous Crazy Fingers I'll hold up as one of the very best ever! Nice harmonies and Jerry is spirited and focused the entire show.

I had attempted to drive from St. Louis to the shows in Oregon for which I had tickets in hand and then to meet a friend at these shows. Ended up with a VW van broken down in the middle of god forsaken Kansas. Started hitchhiking right away but ended up missing the Oregon dates. The first night at Shoreline I couldn't find my friend but somehow got a ticket.

Classic Dead Lore Vol. 2 Me and my buddy Mike were tripping in Arches national park the day before this show when we experienced a beautiful summer desert rain. It was a cooling, soft August desert rain that released the smells and deepened the colors of the flora and was just so wonderful. It really made the dosey doe something special that day. And then we got in the car and drove to San Francisco.
