this one was my first show and i was so psyched! we got these cheap seats behind the stage and my friends were yelling at me cause i wasn't dancing.but i was totally cool with just focusing on what billy and micky were doing.a lot of folks say the show a couple of nights later(the night they opened with help-slip!-frank??) was better but when i listened to it i was a little disappointed.don't get me wrong it was a good show but i thought this one was better (jamming wise and playing wise except…

this is one of those unheralded gems of 93 - just for a sample DL the ramble on rose or the sugaree and listen to jerry just WAIL on the sugaree and bust out a whole horn section on Ramble on rose...

Summer and early Fall '93 were great times for both of these songs. This show is no different. The leader of the band is on this night (musically and vocally - for the time)...which always bodes well for the rest of the boys. Try 9-10-93 (Richfield) for another (perhaps even more so) thunderous Ramble On Rose. Nice recording, thanks gentlemen. Solid show overall with some nice climactic highlights.
