This was my first Dead show...July of 1994...I had alot of Dead CD's etc and really should have seen them much sooner but for what ever reason this was my first... The show turned out to be electric from start to finish...I remember talking with the guy right behind me on the lawn. He was from Omaha, Nebraska and had seen over 100 shows...When 'The Wheel' began he fessed up that he owned a bar in Omaha called, you guessed it, "The Wheel". Needless to say he was blown away by the set list!!!

I was at this run of shows and as being a native at of St. Louis at the time (I basically lived right across from the "farm") I didn't see anything which made anyone not feel welcome in our city. For my 10th birthday (1985) I got a Grateful Dead album from my aunt who lived in the Bay Area. As I aquired more and more albums at a young age I fell in love with the music.
