I was at this show, and it ended uup being the final GD show at the Garden. Jerry died the next summer just after we got our mail orders for The Never To Be Final GD Boston Garden shows. Excellent show. The crowd was really into it, and the Shakedown is truely worth the entire download alone. ENJOY!

..sadness, so many memories from this room. This was nearing the end of the road for The Grateful Dead, no one really knew HOW soon the end would unfortunately come, but the energy of the band was off and on at this point, and it was evident to most experienced heads that this couldn't last much longer without Jerry having a major change. I agree with the previos post, this shows sounds MUCH better than I remember it live. At the time I thought it was a bit disjointed and sliggish.
