This is an especially beautiful show, but then again, I am biased. This was my first. Before this show, I hated the dead, I was only there because my friend bought me a ticket. I was 16. Man...It sounds like everything I remember. I have been listening to the dead for the 10 years that have passed since then, and I still would rank it high! The post above remarked on Jerry's confidence. There is something in the tone, the looseness and strength of his scaled progressions.

This show comes off better than I remember it being in person. For a 1994 show, Jerry seems to be more together than at other shows. I thought the next night was better, but even that show has more Jerry blunders than this one. The Around and Around is especially fun. Also, for an audience recording, I think the sound is quite good, especially for the Oakland Coliseum.
