I had been seeing the Dead since 1977, I witnessed many incarnations. I kept going to shows through the years, occasionally catching some very good ones. After all a bad dead show is better than anything else. In '92 and '93 it was tough, they didn't seem into it. i really liked Days Between when i first heard it but Jerry never "nailed" it. Until this show, not only that but after what happened 8&1/2 months later, I think this whole show was perhaps the return of the boys we all loved so much.

TRAFFIC & the Dead; priceless ! ! On November 10th, 2007 Michael Love said: Best show i have ever attended. Imagine TRAFFIC, the Dead, and a THUNDERSTORM that was magical ! Music was bang'n! The gift from the heavens that day was incredible. When the rains came, Traffic was at 'one' with the universe as they transitioned with/to the Dead. Devastating. Brilliant. Haunting, even a day after you've hard it. Possibly the best performance of Days, and certainly among the top performances of Jerry's career, this ranks with Jerry's most powerful moments, the Morning Dew's of 1973-74, Mountains of the Moon of 1969, and others. A momentary resurgence of brilliance, clarity, and technical agility out of the cloud of self-abuse that snuffed it all out 8 months later.
