This was my final time seeing the late great Jerry Garc1a perform. My first concert was at the Capitol Theatre in Passaic NJ in 1978 when I was 13. I feel blessed to have been on board for 17 of the Garcia years. I continue to go to this day and thank God have been fortunate enough to have not missed any of the incarnations after Jerry died. The Other Ones - The Furthur Festivals - The Dead - Phil and Friends - Ratdog and now Furthur.

The EMOTION pouring out from this evening is tremendous. That is what this band is about, being truthful, bringing your demons from the past to the surface and dealing with them. First of all I want to emphasize that this is not a true 5 star show, but it is not a 2 stars either!!! This show is WAY BETTER than Highgate was, and most of the rest of 1995. Stranger is nice, with the band really pulling it together at the end. The Same thing is nicer, A VERY JAMMY Stagger Lee, & the last Deal ever played might be one of the better jams in all of '95!! I know the others who were at this one with me, got goose bumops during China>Rider.
