This is just wonderful. An absolutely smokin' performance so psychedelic your teeth will clench. You know it's gonna be a weird night when Jerry forgets to sing until the 3rd Bertha verse. A top-notch Other One. A nice fall-off-the-ledge-and-crawl-slowly-back GDTRFB. The recording is great -- solid and musical -- you can hear every instrument clearly and the excitement in the room is palpable. Yeah, there are some flaws (and a couple missing tracks) but it's an audience from 1971.

This a really well-preserved recording. Levels seems to have solid freq. range, crisp highs and very, very clear. Any sound critic should be impressed by this one. Nice work. Opens up with a solid Bertha which at the end of,Bobby instructs "guy with the microphone" to move back 40 feet for the best recording. This one gets 5 skulls for Bobby's words of recording encouragement

Thank you, Archive, for making this available. This recording reflects The Grateful Dead scene entirely, to include the band, crew, audience and the deadicated taper who made it possible to experience 35 years later...in all its beautiful ugliness (and Pigpen too!). All Heads, young and old, should download this one.
