The channels are swapped, L for R. Most noticable at intro to Not Fade Away when Billy hits the floor tom which comes up in the R channel - it should be L. If you listen to the show, it is a global channel swap and not a panning problem. As example Jerry's guitar is coming-up in R chennel, but he was on stage R (left channel for us) in this era. It is fine the way it is, but distracting if you spent years in front of the band back then... :-).

- ★★★★★ · 4 Pigpen songs in one night...I am downloading this for sure. · oh_uh_um_ah · 2008
I am listening to these tracks as I download them, and this show is HOT!!!. It's live, and there are some minor issues like hum and feedback at the begining, but the band stays focused and delivers a show that is in the pocket, and the sound guys get their act together and the whole team brings into focus a truely Memorable performance by the Greatest Rock-n-Roll Band in the world. I've heard worse on IA, this is not bad at all. Phil's sound is rich and fat on TJ.
- ★★★★★ · What's up with that tuning tune before Deal? · transitive nightfall · 2025
I am working my way through 1971. It is really clear how much Keith added, inspired and energized everyone. But in the few months away, I really missed Pigpen. However, I want to know more about that tuning before Deal. It is more than tuning. They embark of some sort of something that goes nowhere for about 90 secs. Does anyone recognize that tune? Name that tune! I feel like this is a debate that must have already happened, perhaps settled before.
