since all the gorgeous soundboards from the Europe tour that used to be here (4/14, 4/17, 5/10, 5/11,, 5/13, 5/16,etc...) are all gone now, presumably to be released by GDM at some unspecified future date, or otherwise held back from our greedy ears, consider yourself lucky to hear this high-quality audience recording! Playin is a hot opener. Listen to the German audience... they warm up as the show goes on, especially for Pig! Loser is a winner, to be expected.

I still have it, but the SBD is sitting on my backup HD while this is on the RAID that I use for everyday playing. It's clearer and more dynamic. As far as the audience goes, I miss the attentive audiences I was part of at jazz and rock shows while living in the Czech Republic. Back here I'll often be more at a concert I tape the day after listening to the recording, than I was the night before at the actual show.

Don't know what the deal is with this venue but it has fantastic acoustics. Big, open, echoey (but not too much), rich, whole sound. I'm so glad that I was "forced" into listening to this aud, it has character that was lacking in the boards. I noticed that the taper is in the comment thread... Thanks brother!👍 All I know, I could not leave her there...
