This show isn't up to par with most '77 shows. Part of the problem is that the drums are too loud on this recording, but Bill and Micky are also kind of sloppy here. And the band seems a little tired or something. Not a bad show, vocals are good, but not inspired, either.

Great show in the old Paramount Theater, my first of many. The show was loud, intimate, with quality sound, back in the days when Jerry was wearing his dark sunglasses rapidly picking his way through the scales while Wier was jumping all over the stage strumming away, and Lesh was plunking away on the bass where every beat was felt reverberating against your sternum, all against the driving background rythyms of Bill and Micky, with Keith on keyboards.
