I remember getting in on a miracle. That morning, a friend at the time rolled past the house as I was having coffee on the porch. He mentioned he was headed out to Chicago to see the Dead, would I like to tag along. Sure, was my answer. I had been listening to shows and was VERY interested to see why my friends were so wrapped up in them. We hit the lot at around two in the afternoon, he looked at me and said, "Dont get lost.

Was an eighty's metal head. Got offered a ticket to go. Cool concert let's go, now who is the Grateful Dead and what do they play. Got on that bus and never left. Was not on anything. The sound felt like it flowed threw the crowd. The crowd and music got me hooked. Glad I went.
